Our Services
At Atlantic Autism Services, Inc. we embody a team concept involving the client, the client’s family/caregivers, school, and medical providers.
We deliver evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy by qualified professionals, including a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and support staff.
ABA services may take place in the home, school, and/or community. We are also able to provide consultation and classroom training in certain circumstances. We are dedicated to providing families with the tools they need to create positive behavior changes.
ABA is a form of therapy that helps individuals with autism spectrum disorders. ABA uses a one-on-one teaching approach to help clients through reinforcement of desired behaviors. Individuals diagnosed with autism may present a range of strengths and challenges that require various types of interventions. When a client begins ABA with Atlantic Autism Services, Inc., they will receive an individualized treatment plan customized to their specific needs

A BCBA directly observes the client, completes a standardized assessment, reviews records, and interviews caregivers to determine the client’s needs and goals. Individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans are then developed to target increasing skills while decreasing maladaptive behaviors.

A BCBA will provide training for parents/caregivers on the interventions/techniques used to teach their child as well as the implementation of the behavior intervention plan. This will help ensure the child’s ability to take skills learned during the session and generalize them to everyday life.
